    Anora

    ★★★

A graphic and vulgar drama/comedy film.

Mikey Madison is entertaining in the lead role as "Ani." Ani's growth as a person makes her a rather sympathetic character as the movie goes on.

The film contains nudity and inappropriate language throughout.

The middle of the movie is action oriented and quite humorous.

The climax and eventual conclusion of the film is sad. It gives the viewer a new perspective on the rest of the movie.

All in all, a R-rated film that is debaucherous and vulgar, yet surprisingly moving.

    Becoming Led Zeppelin

    ★★★½

A documentary about the musical journey of four men leading to the formation of the legendary band Led Zeppelin.

The film includes brand new interviews with John Paul Jones, Jimmy Page, and Robert Plant, as well as never before heard archived audio interviews of John Bonham.

The doc features incredible photos and footage from the band's early days. The film also contains many photos as well as footage of the band members from before Led Zeppelin's formation.

    The doc climaxes…

    The Menu

    ★★★½

An interesting, one of a kind comedy/horror film.

The plot is very original as it provides social commentary on foodie culture and rich people.

The movie is engaging throughout, with entertaining characters, plot twists, and moments of humor.

A different, but very solid horror film that needs to be seen to truly be understood.

    Some Call Them ... Freaks

    ★★★

A HBO documentary about some of the world’s most genetic marvels.

The film spends a few minutes sharing each individual’s public and personal lives.

All in all, a solid doc about people born unique who lived even more unique lives.
