this movie deserves 3.5 stars alone just for the lengthy scene where Daniel Craig does heroin set to ‘Leave Me Alone.’ honestly feels crafted straight out of my own noggin since I associate reading Queer + Junkie very closely with New Order and that tune specifically, as I was consuming both within the same 2012 time period. Tbf it’s such a perfect NO song that you could soundtrack it to a dog droppin’ a big smelly dookie and it’d still be emotionally crushing so maybe not the best litmus test of actual filmic quality
