This film drags its runtime but it’s so much fun.
It’s got grindhouse-esque editing, overdeveloped colors that clearly let you see the base of its film stock, and a ton of practical effects. It’s kind of like Batman & Robin in the sense that there are several different films within the same one. But where that’s a weakness for Schumacher, it’s arguably a strength here.
