Still undecided on how I feel about this. Whilst watching it, narratively I felt like everything was just kind of happening and there didn’t seem to be much lead in to any of it. But I’ve been left feeling kind of disturbed by it in a weird way. It’s a very cold and unforgiving film and even the one nice moment (between Shinji and Kaworu) ended up being all for nothing.
