  Take a shot every 20 minutes of this movie, or alternatively 2 glasses of wine/beer every hour, and you should be able to get through it. I personally think alcohol can enhance the movie experience, so take my suggestion with a grain of salt. This is a very beautiful movie and I don't want the length of it to turn anyone off.   Whatever I really want to say about this film has most likely already been said, but I'll try and provide some fresh insights: 1) Watch this movie in one sitting, because I didn't and very much regret it (I may break my norms and give another review upon rewatching it without any breaks in between), and 2) Whoever plays Stefano looks like Harvey Keitel and Roman Polanski had a baby.
