every shot carries so much weight as a palestinian activist spends years filming his community in the west bank as the israeli military and settlers violently try to wipe it out. it felt like a movie-version of a diary, capturing everyday moments and horrors.
i'm thankful i live in one of the few cities to get an independent screening, and i'm furious that despite getting nominated for an oscar or winning best documentary at berlin, it still has no distributor in the u.s. it's a movie that deserves to be seen, a story that needs to be heard.
