  I was genuinely going to give this 5 stars for being a truly exceptional comedy until I read the reviews and realised that this was not supposed to be hysterical overacted camp nonsense. 

  Don’t get me wrong I was throughly entertained  because it was a laugh riot - I’m just really struggling to comprehend that wasn’t the intention?

  Tweak the music in some (and only some) of the scenes and it would be believably a prequel to What We Do In The Shadows.
