This was a fun movie, and I mostly have positive things to say. I liked the visuals. It took on serious themes without being too serious. Pattinson did well. However, the story seemed to meander through its own exposition in a way that didn't keep me overly engaged. I left feeling satisfied, but not amazed in any way. 3/5 stars feels perfect for me. I really want to taste that creeper tail sauce...
This was a sweet first watch! This was a cozy up in a blanket mystery with classic with Tarantino gore. It’s almost entirely a single location film, and the charming cabin in the forest of Wyoming was too cool. I loved the way the plot unfolded and kept me guessing. The characters are dark, and we learn more about them as they each take turns in the spotlight. The cinematography adds to the atmosphere as well as the sound design.…
