  While I think memories of murder is a better film objectively, I’m not sure but I think I might have preferred this as it is much tighter IMO, It’s pretty much perfect at what it is if you can overlook some of the effects, I’ve seen much worse though and it doesn’t detract unless you’re nitpicking for problems.

  Havent watched the original but i imagine that all the best parts from this are just from that.

  Its not completely hopeless but the bad acting, clichés, unintended humour and long boring, unscary sections make for a very bad film.

  I didnt realise until the end but the version I watched had the infamous ‘not the bees’ scene cut, and being that it is one of the funnier moments, I have to say, I missed it.
