    This is one of the best films I’ve ever seen. Tradition and modernity co existing, colliding with brute force. Chinese trad folk blasted through a PA via a Bluetooth headset. The way Li and Pearls lives are explored grants them agency to re enact daily ritual and memory in a way that summons ambiguity around their relationship without invasive interviews.
