  It's alright! The creature or presence or whatever it is was kinda cool. And the runtime doesn't overstay its welcome. The non-chronological plot helps it get into 3 star territory too. Could easily have been a slog but does just enough to keep you a bit interested.

  This could've been so good. Visually it looks incredible. But the pacing is so awful. Why is it 41 minutes until we're on Arrakis when you're doing the entire book? Why do the Fremen basically not matter and their entire triumph gets glossed over? Come on David. Stop telling us the whole plot in whispered internal monologues too. Show us what's happening.
