I am sorry but this sequel’s story was quite disappointing. I did not know what to expect but there’s no way they did not force Ridley Scott to direct this. The score did nothing for it. The only bright spot being Denzel Washington’s performance. Hurts to see that a remarkable actor like Paul Mescal was handed such a severely underwhelming script. The visuals paled sorely in comparison to anything Roman inspired I’ve ever seen. Pedro Pascal felt like a wasted…

Right at the conception of the climax; after uncovering the antagonist’s story, i still questioned what our protagonist’s sin was that he deserved 15years being locked up for. To say i was puzzled would be an understatement. 

Imagine my shock when the protagonists pointed out the flaw in both mine (viewer) and our protagonist’s (Oh Dae-su) point of view. 
We were very much asking the wrong question because what had been concocted because of a rumor that was both true…
