many great ideas leading to nowhere (sadly) and kinda weird undertones of romance between belle and the monster only for it (surprise) to end with nothing really and to leave one confused why it was presented in this way to begin with. Also, the whole build up of the story ends way too quickly and too sudden to give enough time and space for the important topic of domestic abuse/child abuse. was kinda disappointed after wanting to watch the movie for such a long time.

I really expected to love the movie..here I feel that the realisation of a unique idea failed miserably. The visuals were amazing - the portrayal of the girl finding back to life not so much. Yes she can be sexual and discover that but why isn’t it an issue that she has the brain of a child and is being abused and taken advantage of by everyone around her? Why is the scene about the dying baby’s not further discovered & what it does to her emotionally? Why do we go back to the fucking? Anyways it looked very pretty tho 😭
