  I did not think Disney/Pixar had it in them to make something so existential and spiritual especially when it’s geared to young audiences; seems all the better in teaching kids about life, death, and the meaning in between all that 

  Not surprising since Pixar is backed by that Disney money, but the animation is elite with phenomenal visuals and a pretty solid voice cast. Ending was pretty typical with the playing it safe route but it’s still a mesmerizing experience that’ll have you thinking about your place on Earth for a bit

  Those last 45 seconds of Adele Haenel’s face summarized my face throughout the whole movie...

  I WILL be giving this another rewatch cause that was genuine poetic cinema and I don’t think I’ve been so emotional sitting in the car after a movie has finished...  

  I know this technically came out last year and was recognized during the awards season that had just passed, but I’m crowning this at the top of my year in film I will not take no for an answer.

  Seen as part of a livestream with Zack Snyder on Vero, followed by a Q&A afterwards with surprise guest Henry Cavill as well as an OFFICIAL announcement about Snyder’s Justice League and that’s history right there folks.

  This version of Superman seriously rocks, and an immense amount of details were learned today just by watching Zack commentate and showing off storyboards
