First film on my Criterion Challenge list!
Very disturbing and beautiful. But that's life, huh? I loved this. A Sysiphus in the dunes story. I went into it not knowing much, other than it was a thriller. It's exceptional by taking this "stuck/stranded" theme and aligning it with reality. Love me some existential dread (though the dread is sometimes arguable).
