  heavily appreciate how much eggers understands that untraditional camera movements convey some insane surreal horror.

  also he keeps doing these very sudden, blunt, moments of silence that quickly strip the subjectivity of the characters on screen to show you how cold and horrific it is without sny theatrics (i.e bird eating mother in vvitch… i think in this movie its just nosf noshin), and i just dont think that choice is nearly as cool as he thinks, i think it near…
