Been wanting to watch this since I was like 12 and finally got around to it. No disappointment over here. Just a great time. Kevin Kline is brilliant.

Every fiber of my being wanted to adore this. And I did adore the first half for the most part. Truly had one of the most bloated third acts I’ve seen in a long time. I don’t know what makes directors and editors feel the need to end movies ten times in the last forty minutes because a tighter cut here could’ve made this a fantastic movie.

When I was 11, my brother (who is 12 years older than me) and his girlfriend went to see this in theaters. Obviously this made me incredibly jealous. Despite sneaking around my parents to watch this a million times that summer, I never got to see this in a theater. Until today. After all these years, still an A+
