  I re-watched because the Directors Cut comes with the Blu-Ray. 
  “The Shining” is one of the most important films of my life. Few books or movies have had more of a profound, obsessive effect on me - the iconic  design aesthetics, the comfort it gave me during lockdowns, cosplaying as Jack Torrance for Halloween.
