    Justice Smith as a 50 year old with gray hair is maybe one of the most unintentionally funny moments I’ve ever had the pleasure of witnessing.

    Low budget teasing in the 3rd act aside, this was an amazing rollercoaster of emotion, memory and nostalgia. 

    It has all the requisite references - Limp Bizkit, Cocteau Twins, The Adventures of Pete & Pete, Fruitopia vending machines, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Bill Clinton playing the saxamaphone.

    Otherwise, this is arguably the most critically overrated film of 2024. 
    Yes, the score is killer and the cinematography is innovative. But the plot is an elevated A24 take on a USA-Up-All-Night script.
