The beauty (aka unbearable tension) of this film lies in its moral ambiguity. At its heart, it’s a clash between the desperation of poverty and the idealism of a better future. One character’s refusal to support a local project, driven by environmental beliefs, creates an irreconcilable divide with the community — who see this as their only chance to escape a life of struggle.

Reasons I loved this one.
1) The power play plot is perfectly done. The characters have all their own flaws, abilities, limitations, and the reasons of their ambitions and madness are visible. You can empathize with each of the three main characters, understand their motivations and care about them.
2) Performances. Excellent. All of them. But Olivia Colman gets my "Best Performance" prize this year (well... actually last year prize)

Película que puede haber sido genial, pero cae en problemas totalmente innecesarios.
Lo bueno: Aborda a traves de una temática relativamente frecuente un debate interno sobre "el sistema". Lo hace brillantemente desde distintas aristas. Logra especialmente bien una especie de "claustrofobia de clase", donde los estandares de cierta clase permiten ciertos comportamientos y sin innamovibles no importa que. Eso está fantasticamente logrado. Muchas otras cosas geniales que por cuestiones de spoilers prefiero no ahondar.
Lo malo: Están raras las actuaciones.…
