  I simply don't get the avalanche of aggressive hate directed at this film. While not without its flaws, I found it a bold experiment with its heart in the right place. I was moved, entertained, and inspired. What else can one want from a film? Bravo!

  Would gladly watch this 50 more times than one more bloated $200 million super hero monument to fantastical nothingness. This small, natural, insightful, stream of consciousness film is a singular cinematic experience. More of a thoughtful and tender dream than a narrative, it packs the kind of lingering punch I haven't felt from a movie in so long. It (and the filmmakers) deserve all the praise they are getting. A genuine, if low-key, triumph.

  It's threadbare, unfocused, and runs a little out of steam near the end, but I laugh more in the first 15 minutes of this genuine classic than I do in most entire comedy films. No small thing. Well-deserving of its lasting legacy.
