  Bong Joon Ho is on top form here. I wasn’t as gripped narratively as I wanted to be, but he has such a strong handle on tone that the whole thing is undeniably impressive.

  Jesus Christ okay I’m currently writing this in the cinema while watching the film

  Schemers starts with a Trainspotting copy paste opening with all the running and narration and none of the good content

  ummm
  This is a really terrible adaption, that I’d go so far as to say misses the mark on a number of occasions.
  Every song is so terribly staged, and so furiously on the nose with very little imagination.
  There is no care, no choreography.
  It tries so hard to not be a musical, and hide the dancing. Which is ridiculous for west side story… a story known for its dancing.
