Good insight into the ambition to achieve the highly coveted Michelin 3 star rating. The mystery as to how they rate is somewhat revealed, but not fully.

This films runs the gamut of action film cliches, but if you enjoy Jason Statham kicking ass, you'll enjoy it. There is one scene near the end that breaks with usual build up to the 2 titans fighting each other. I laughed my ass off.

An interesting adaptation of Shakespeare play. Set in what looks like Bosnia circa 1990, Ralph Fiennes is indomitable and never compromising. The dialogue is lifted directly from the play, so there were times I did not understand exactly what was being said, but there was never an issue of "understanding" the scene. Vanessa Redgrave is simply outstanding as the matriarch. Jessica Chastain who seems to be everywhere these days has the solemn wife role so not much to work with…

I revisited this along with the original Harper recently. Paul Newman is just great, but Murray Hamilton steals every scene he's in as the Southern sociopath oil baron. Good stuff, check it out if you've never seen it or it's been awhile.
