this should’ve been a layup of a movie but they just missed the mark. performances outside of Phoenix were unremarkable at best

Shrek 2001
would’ve loved to have a better look into the donkey and dragons relationship. could’ve been revolutionary for progressive minds and encouraged people to be more outward with their sexualities. shrek and Fiona are a good couple, but I would’ve liked to see more explanation for why shrek is obsessed with her. Film was very well made and the motifs throughout are thought provoking.
