    Bad Lieutenant

Harvey Keitel recently gave an interview that I think explained a lot of my issues with this movie. He said that when he first received the script, it was ten pages long, a fact that frustrated him so much that he threw it in the trash can. Desperation drove him back to it, though, and he loved what he read when he finally flipped through it. I understand why: it contained just one scene, the one where the Lieutenant screams…

    One film from 1984

"He's a male Caucasian, he used some kind of razor, and he appears to be familiar with martial arts. Other than that, we got a blank wall."

One of the major things the characters argue about…

While I was watching this, I couldn't help but imagine how I would react if I was in this situation. Would I make out with a guy who stuck his face under my skirt without my permission? Would I help the people who laughed at me when I told them I tried to kill myself? Would I want to be friends with someone who beat up another kid and blamed his actions on his dad? No. These are horrible people,…

A lot of bad stuff here, but I think the most insulting thing was the fact that they ended the movie with a set-up for a sequel
