O'Dessa 2025
I feel as if I should have watched this high. It's awful and it's fun. It's a rotten apple and a juicy peach. It makes no sense and perfect sense. It's standing on the shoulders of Streets Of Fire and Xanadu and swinging for the fences. It's a rock country western gender fluid neon wet dream. Sadie Sink...you can SING!!

The Assessment 2024
Odd and slightly fucked up, so of course I really liked it. Excellent debut by director Fleur Fortune. Elizabeth Olsen is as usual, great. So many questions and so much to consider without giving anything away. My only…

Black Bag 2025
Movie making and movie watching at it's finest. Soderberg is on a roll, with Presense a few months ago, and now this BANGER. The cinematography is almost as gorgeous as Cate Blanchett's Katherine. And again we have Soderberg to thank. One of the greatest directors of our time with the most interesting point of view and no one will ever change my mind on that. Everything the man does seems fresh. Blanchett and Fassbender are absolute fire. Any scene filmed…
