A significant improvement on the first. Adds a layer of celebrity to the analysis of trauma. Not bereft of jump scares and a few tropes that do hobble it a bit. That said it’s relentless assault and one very original and very horrifying scene does serve to elevate it above the static tide of horror features

A bit route but serves as a good exploration of grief and trauma. ultimately little new ground is tread

insanely fun and fully realized world. Colorful and as serious as it is hysterical. Gorgeous to watch.  engaging characters that at once embody and supersede the tropes they inhabit.

Brilliant film and I can’t wait to watch it again and again.

(Surprisingly) very good despite some obviously pandering scenes for Angel Studio’s right wing viewership, for example calling a saint an “entrepreneur” and flirting with, but ultimately shying away from, the idea that this exact thing might be happening in the United States right now with a similar group of dark-faced, Catholic people stereotyped for supposed stupidity and manual labor.

Very enjoyable and a few standout performances, particularly from Dell’Anna. its flaws are very easily overcome by its charm and heart.

    Good film.
