You’d assume this is a coming-of-age movie where the main characters will overcome their circumstances to achieve their dream, and every time Owen is given a chance, they run away and hide
Someone called this a reverse coming-of-age, and I think that’s just right
I don’t even believe he made a family of his own honestlyThe disbelief and denial of self which seemed logical when the quest is “get buried alive so you can live in your favorite tv show” ultimately ended Owen’s life
