Saw at Lincoln Center with Dario Argento q&a.
Almost tore my friends arm off gripping it in sheer terror in the last 15 minutes of the film. A remarkable feat of storytelling! The location was gorgeous and the part the insects and nature played in this movie created a primal presence I really enjoyed. Jennifer Connelly is so wonderful here! I cannot believe she actually covered herself in maggots and filth for this film she’s a superior actress for committing to that at 13!
