  Unfortunately this movie is pretty bad. Every line of dialogue was either expository or for the trailer. Not a single likable character. Mildly entertaining, but objectively bad.

  Fede poses the boldest question of the Alien franchise: what if Alien Resurrection didn’t suck? A worthy addition to the franchise. A love letter to each of the prior films without relying on nostalgia. Pulled no punches, skipped on cheap scares and bad dialogue. Creative, intense, familiar. Likable characters. Minus a star for that one part that contradicts everything I just said.

  Do people actually enjoy this movie? Completely excruciating to get through. 

  This felt like it was written by a third grader. I get it’s supposed to be satirical, but it just ends up being exactly what it’s supposed to be a message against. Jack, the proposed bumbling American idiot, meant to represent the American hero stereotype in a more truthful manner, ends up becoming the only redeemable part of this movie. Dreadfully boring, dialogue seemingly written by George Lucas, and soap-opera acting. What does it want to be? Comedy? Action? Fantasy? The only thing I can say for certain, is that it sucks.
