Powerful. Lots of fascinating and heartbreaking topics, showing how difficult it is for a kid to exist today. The soul-crushing conclusion is that it's the nationwide environment that causes this hardship and is almost completely outside the control of individuals or families to protect against, let alone fix.

S1: Pretty good stuff. Starts out realistic and a bit gritty, then get wackier as more twists appear but the constant piling on of twists helps yank it out of the "uncanny valley" of authenticity combined with a bit too much coincidence. Twists and twists and twists by the end, making it an entertaining run.
