I’m not one for horror but I think that’s what made this stick out for me
I really liked focusing on the perspective of Chris the protagonist and how he has to try to deal with the racism around him, rather than how scared I was of the movie. And hell maybe a great horror movie can do both but i don’t wanna be in a state of horror for like 2 hours ever, personal preference idk

I would rate this one star higher but I can’t get over the creepy pedo themes, I do think the camera work was so so gorgeous and it had a good score and had me laughing a whole ton, the humor just added to the surrealism and it didn’t take away from the more intense parts of the movie. Super fun it was pretty long but Bella always keeps everyone and the viewer on their toes I feel.
Upon reflection: I did push it the star higher this was really good
