Keane 2004
“My Name is William Keane, K-E-A-N-E.”
How do I rate a film as claustrophobic, uncomfortably close, raw, and tender as Keane? It was certainly not entertaining or enjoyable, but it was effective. I wanted to crawl out of my skin, take my skin to the woods, and light it on fire because it felt too full of electricity and ball bearings.

Presumed Innocent 1990
“We speak now, tonight, and then these things are never spoken of again, agreed?”

10 to Midnight 1983
"Well if anybody does something like this, his knife is gotta be his penis."
I know what you're thinking: we have Bronson, we have Cannon, we have Golan and Globus—but where I was expecting another movie where an old man with a revolver exacts vigilante revenge on some young punk who smokes pot and freely rapes women with equal moral ambivalence, 10 to Midnight delivered something entirely different. Death Wish 3 this was not, and 10 to Midnight is a reminder…
