  A few days ago, I was raving about a film that created a super anxious atmosphere with just sound design that I've never experienced before in a film. Literally 3 days later I had the chance to experience another film that did something unique with how the sound was utilized. The post sound team needs to get some love for their incredible work in this film.

  I've grown tired of super hero films recently mainly because I feel most of them are made solely as a piece of the bigger cinematic universe puzzle and can't stand alone as a solid film. To me this film actually breaks that trend.

  Black Panther actually feels like a solid stand alone film that doesn't get bogged down by continuity. The supporting cast was actually useful and not annoying like other marvel films. The art design was great, the villain…
