  what starts as a satire is promptly turned on its head in this disturbing critique of capitalism.
  I feel a lot of people seeing this film haven't quite latched on to the point. at its heart Greed is not a comedy, it's social commentary designed to lure you in by its cast and marketing. the characters are laughable, unlikable villains and that's exactly how they're meant to be.
