Dune: Part Two 2024
Add Denis Villeneuve to the list of directors that is a requirement to go see in imax. Magical movie experience and is the reason we go to the theater in general.
Some movies I’ve watched recently and I’ve really felt their length. This is nearly 3 hours long without and ounce of fat on it. Prob gonna have to go see it again.

Oppenheimer 2023
Nolan is the king of directing. Only living director that can actually get people hyped to go to theaters and watch a movie in IMAX. It is not at all what I expected but I loved it anyway. It’s ultimately the best movie I’ve seen this year and after another viewing sometime in the future I can see it being in my top 3 Nolan films (a list that is always fluctuating).

Marcel the Shell with Shoes On 2021
Had no prior knowledge of marcel the shell before watching. It was funny, cute and a little sad at times… but I didn’t understand the overwhelming love for this movie. It’s a simple story told pretty effectively. Still enjoyable with its short runtime. Who knows you might feel a stronger connection to the characters than I did.
