Loved loved loved Eggers adaptation of Murnau's 1922 film. I like the exploration of Count Orlok being this symbol of omnipresent death whilst being this beacon of lust and desire that was barely touched on in the first 2 films. I also loved his cute little moustache (I'd never hate you Count Orlok).

I had zero expectations coming into this film, and watching it at the cinema was definitely an experience. It's sad to see Rose's new chapter open with Jack for it to abruptly end, plus the sheer amount of trauma solidified my fear of water, boats and boats under the water. Anyways this film made me sob ⛵️
