Was the whole point of this for Keith Morris to tell us that he's into younger women?
"Executive Producer - Anthony Keidis"
Well, that settles it
I really wanted this to be as good as I remembered but sadly not. It's actually weirdly dialogue heavy and the pacing is awful. The visuals and directing are as superb as Tim Burtons best and you can't help but smile at the score and the soundtrack choices, but the characters lack any real chemistry which makes the whole thing feel like an overdrawn sketch.
Like Spinal Tap (minus all of the comedy) meets Bohemian Rhapsody (with all the bad editing). Complete with some of the worst original songs ever recorded and a writer/director just lobbing things at the screen one after another in a timeline that jumps back and forth every other cut.
The half star goes to schoolboy Christian Bale.
