RRR 2022
First experience of Bollywood and I enjoyed this a lot more than I expected. It’s WAY too long and that really holds this back from being a better film but I’m definitely gonna check out other Bollywood films because of this. Rewatched this yesterday with some friends and I’m truly embarrassed I ever thought this was any less than a masterpiece. It might well be the most gorgeous film ever made. The animation style is truly revolutionary and you can see how it inspired so many anime classics! The way the characters speak is so authentic and I related to tetsuo a lot! All in all if you didn’t like this first time round I implore to give this another chance you might be delighted.

Don’t know why I had this as a 7. I remember the last time I saw this thinking it was a bit mediocre outside of the Heath ledger scenes but damn I’ll admit I was wrong. Very well paced, and it manages to have two very compelling villains in one film. Something I can’t think of another superhero film doing.
