  Not as outright campy as A Simple Favour or as tonally inventive as May December, Mothers' Instinct has enough going for it to make it an enjoyable time with two queens.

  Anne Hathaway is incredible in this film, best she has been in a long time. There is a look that she gives Jessica Chastain, while wearing a fabulous Bene Gesserit veil, that terrified me.

  Feels like it's written by an AI that has watched all previous Alien films and had to include a reference to each one of them. Ironic considering Ridley Scott's far superior prequel films are more about the existential threat that A.I poses to humanity.
