Samurai Cop 1991
I watched this movie hoping it'd be a "so bad it's good" kinda movie, but it's not really that. Long awkward pauses mixed with poor acting and wonky lines make the movie feel simply boring and stilted, with very little substance holding it together.
Random long, gratuitous sex scenes only serve to make me uncomfortable, like I'm intruding on someone's moment.

Another Round is a story about addiction - when too much of a good thing becomes bad. You see how addicted people hurt the people around them, and the little lies they tell themselves to ignore the problem for as long as possible.
I felt that this was shown very well, as it all felt very realistic, applicable to people you know. This of course is helped along by some great acting, particularly by Mads Mikkelsen. Seeing the conflicts play…
