This film falls into the pile of Netflix films that have promise but come up short. Something about it felt flat in spots. I did enjoy some of the character moments. Herman, in particular, was appealing. There are some amazing VFX and I think if I had watched it in a theater might have rated this film higher.

This film has an amazingly believably odd futuristic setting that allows this surreal story to play out. Robert Pattison's performance was excellent. The run time was a little long but I enjoyed being in the world and watching the characters so I didn’t mind the length.

A Swim Lesson 2024
Who knew so much can be learned from watching children being taught how to swim? The lessons of swimming translate very well to the lessons of all adversity. The film is also beautifully shot.
