Great set design, locations and performances. 100% vibes. Little notes of Silence of the Lambs, True Detectivd, Zodiac, and the X-Files until supernatural cop-out third act. Loved the first hour and ten minutes though.

Samurai Cop 2: Deadly Vengeance 2015
Somehow less competent and infinitely more cynical than the original. It seems like a lot of the cast was really embracing the garbage and having fun. Not enough exteriors, and garbage music. I don't get the feeling that the crew really had any love for the original.
This movie took my four sittings over five days to complete.
