I think this is bit of a cilantro movie it either adds an intresting spice or makes your whole palate taste of soap. For me it really worked both in its humor and its central gory thesis about death. It holds the perspective of both a parent and child confronted by the reality that all of them must die and develops the thought out. The wooden over the top acting and beutiful dreamy camera that returns from Longlegs really worked for me here. Go in with caution but for the right sort of person this will really hit.

Cute and fun with a very overt political edge. Sometimes does feel like bit of a mallet but being unsubtle is often a good idea these days. More of a movie of ideas than charecters. Pattison does good work and everyone else is hamming it up like they are in a B movie from the 80s in a good way. Do understand his desire to maybe work with Alien based on this very coded that way already.
