  I found this a lot more touching than I expected, a sweet and heartbreaking look at grief and muddling through – the moment with Bridget and her Dad was more than enough to set me off and that was only 10 minutes in.

  This finally felt like the right balance of nostalgia and continuing the story, which the last film in the franchise didn’t deliver, probably because pretty much the entirety of the original cast were present rather than purely…

  Didn’t actually realise this was Baz Luhrmann going in, realised about 45 seconds in from the classic dizzingly fast-paced weirdness

  -Austin Butler is good! Jacob Elordi potentially better?
  -I somehow managed to get bored
  -Glad Elvis’s huge debt to black music and dancing included but do we really expect the black community to have felt as much joy as they were presented to at the idea of Elvis stealing black songs?
