  This is a devastating watch but is what British drama does best – bleak realities with no judgement or bias flowing underneath it, just a confrontational mirror to society. A masterpiece on so many levels – the script, the episode-long continuous shots, the acting. Stephen Graham, the talent that you are.

  Didn’t actually realise this was Baz Luhrmann going in, realised about 45 seconds in from the classic dizzingly fast-paced weirdness

  -Austin Butler is good! Jacob Elordi potentially better?
  -I somehow managed to get bored
  -Glad Elvis’s huge debt to black music and dancing included but do we really expect the black community to have felt as much joy as they were presented to at the idea of Elvis stealing black songs?
