The Brutalist 2024
I’m still chewin on this and I have some qualms but this was very interesting and a good watch! Adrien Brody deserved the Oscar (not the time they gave him for his acceptance speech tho). I thought Felicity Jones was good despite what I’d heard! Also I didn’t like Joe Alwyn in the first half but he won me over. Oh and hot take but I feel like Matt Damon could’ve played Van Buren (John heartily disagrees)
Loved the accurate Reform Judaism representation too
