  Amazing brilliant animation and awesome soundtrack, but holy moly I hated this movie’s story. It was all just so unnecessary and cynically designed, and normally with these things I can pretend to not know I’m watching a two hour toy commercial but for some reason it really bothered me here. Maybe I wasn’t in the right mood. The artwork is an insane achievement.

  What a strange monster of a movie. It sortof feels like this year’s terrifier 2, an ugly, mean spirited exploitation throwback that has absolutely no business being two and a half hours long. It’s flaws are obvious (bad writing/acting/editing/music/cgi), but it becomes weirdly hypnotic as we descend into this comically edgy underworld of satanic drug dealers.
