Very thorough and interesting look at early olympic games. Safety standards, equipment, and clothing have improved quite a bit from what is presented here. Some events were little more than the start and the award presentation, but others cover the entire event start to finish. Events, no longer part of the games, or greatly modified in it's current version, give insight into the evolution of certain sports. It is pure joy and nostalgia to see just the events unfold without the added human interest stories that seemed to creep into the televised presentations in the seventies. No time wasted here.
