Black Bag 2025
Great to see Soderberg return to some great form. Bizarre how little advertising there was for this considering it's quality and the talent involved. Really enjoyed it and again Soderbergs brief forays into voyeurism. "I can always tell when you're watching me". Observation as the foundation of love.

Really fun except for some incredibly silly moments. Rush and Sutherland are excellent but the younger actors often fail to live up to their strengths. The plot requires some dispensing of disbelief but the fun it has along the way keeps you engaged.

Beauty and the Beast 1946
Just incredibly beautiful. A real ode to magic with stunning lighting and production. Cannot believe they got everything so correct here and that every subsequent adaptation could get so much wrong. As with all the greatest fantasy films it is also a little disturbing. A real delight.
